Angry Door glass too short

Anyone have any problems with their aftermarket glass being cut too short?
I've tried a set of glass from a local vendor and a set from LMC, and both sets are cut 1/4" too short.

So the problem is, that the channel bottoms out at the window felt flange before the window actually rolls up. I would think if anything, they would at least make it taller than the originals.

Both pics are shown with the sides and the bottoms lined up.
The old were shaded, the new are clear and tempered

Re: Door glass too short

My tinted stock ones are pretty decent, Just a couple minor scratches. I "may" use those, not for sure yet. Thanks for the offer though.

The local vendor took back my first set.
Sounds like LMC is going to take back the current set. They said they will look into the problem.

Re: Door glass too short

It might be the pattern they are using is for the early models that came with a metal frame around the side windows. That might explain the glass being too short. Interesting the LMC catalog makes no distinction between the frame and frameless models. From what I’ve read the early models with the frame use plate glass, and the later frameless version is tempered.

Re: Door glass too short

Recently bought door glass from Classic Parts of America, for my 63. Fits nicely. I didn't measure it against the original though. Hope you figure out the prob.

Re: Door glass too short

Thanks for the replies.
I have LMC checking the measurement against others they have in stock.
