bed length ?
hello / my frame and bed has been shortened before i got it . and before the owner before me . i put a floor in it but the frame has a big step-up and don't really like what i came up with.was thinking of doing different bed can anyone tell me if my bed was orig. long or short ? here are some measurements

Just measured my LWB at the same points you measured yours. Mine is 96" (8 feet on the nose).
When people cut a LWB to a SWB, they cut 12" out in front of the wheel well and 8" behind. Therefore, a standard SWB would be 76" when measured where you took your measurements. Therefore, you have the elusive super short bed.
