What is a hardtop worth?

I was just curious what a fair shape hardtop would sell for?

Re: What is a hardtop worth?

$100-400 depending on hatch condition from what I've seen around. But cracked tops that need work are usually only worth $50-100.

Single or double wall? There have been several board members that ended up cutting up and trashing double wall tops because they couldn't give them away.

Re: What is a hardtop worth?

Not really...there's a few things to look for to see if it's a single wall:

1. Dome lights
2. Electrical plug for dome lights on the drivers side
3. Horizontally flat surface where the top meets the bed rails

If the top doesn't have these, it's the less sought after double wall.

Re: What is a hardtop worth?

Man, I wish I lived in your areas...I've been looking for a double wall to replace mine since the top is bowed (hatch is good though), and if I find one it's usually 200-450. Most of the time they don't have glass or hatch too.
