Re: not mine but a nice suburban on ebay!!

it needs a lot of work that truck does. perhaps the price should be 1/2 of what they are asking for it
ron

Anyone pick up on the rust issues in the photos, lots of work needed on that one. Nice patina on top of the rust though...Vernski

I thought the rust was the patina.

Re: not mine but a nice suburban on ebay!!

i didnt think it looked to bad myself being complete is a big deal to me after chasing parts it looked like it needed cab mount supports a fender and somefloor rocker work i have seen some hacked subs going for alot more but anyway i am glad i have one already and dont have to worry about it i think these subs complete are going to get alot harder to find in the near future.

Re: not mine but a nice suburban on ebay!!

Well let's just call it what it is to me a low mileage rust bucket JMHO. The rust you see on the surface is just the tip of the iceberg, there are things lurking underneath the surface you don't see in the photo's and fixing it all is not cheap. And as Ron said why is it still around, with no bids?...Vernski

let just say you dont know what your talking about,i own this didnt realize it was on here not all of us can get one garage fresh from arizona this thing alot more solid than your giving it credit for all the rust issues are pretty common for these trucks and its clean around the windshield in and out, and remember theres alot of guys on here starting with way worse.

Re: not mine but a nice suburban on ebay!!

hey, it did look a lot better when you had it listed on c/l and less money. at least you did show some of the problem areas, perhaps all of them. but don't fool yourself, there is a lot of work there.
no one seemed to know that it was yours and perhaps they wouldn't have been as vocal had they known. a lot of others may look worse ,but in the end they more than likely won't be any more work. they still have to rplace the same things
ron

ya i know theres work here just like the other suburbans you will find without the seats window latches and been painted 10 times mudded up hidding everything and been through 20 peoples hands, and my starting price was cheaper on ebay than craigslist and i had to start somewhere i will lower the price and list one more time,if it dont sell the seats will look good in mine along with some other parts rust free upper and lower gates might get switched with mine im sure your right on the vocal part if they knew it was mine thanks
