How low can i go?

So i was looking on the forums and one guy is saying that all his trucks had 6inch drop coils in the back without a notch......is this true how low can i go without a notch

Some will hit, others won't.

You should be good up to 6" of drop for normal driving w/o any pay-load. Starting adding stuff in the bed area & get on a crappy road & it could possibly bottom out. There would be less chance of that happening w/the 5" rear drop.

The industry 'standard' is a 2" difference from front to rear from the factory (rear end is higher to compensate for loading the trucks bed w/crap). So if you're looking for a 6" rear drop, you'll want a 4" front drop.

Best way to go is anything after 4 inch c-notch the frame, although you can remove the stock bumptop and go to a pancake bumpstop instad but i really suggest notching after 4 inches.
