Kick panel speaker assembly
I've found them with the standard speakers and the deluxe speakers....does anyone sell them without speakers..just the empty speaker holes?

Make sure that the speakers you want to put into them will fit before you buy them. From reading around I understand that they are quite shallow and you may find that there is not enough mounting depth for really good quality speakers. I am going to make my own fibreglass pods to mount some JBL 4 inchers on the kicks later this year.

What lippyp said- make sure the speakers you want will fit in the pod- they are made shallow probably to make more footroom and so they won't stick way out in the cab. I bought mine from Wes www.classicheartbeat.com

Did anybody else have to move their dimmer switch to install these?

ebrake isn't as big of a deal as it sounds. Just drill a hole on the dash lip underneath and move the whole front of the assembly over an inch or so maybe less. You don't even have to screw with where it attaches to the firewall. Mine was made more difficult because I have this trailer brake assembly under the dash, but I still have sufficient room for the release handle.

Thanks for info, I'll check on sizes. Does anyone have any other options..other than cutting metal or door panels?

I would consider making some custom pods from fibreglass. I'm going to have a go at this myself, probably this winter as I plan on redoing my interior then. Below are some links that may help, ignore the actual cars shown it's the principle that counts!

Thanks for the links Lippyp, I found some pods like those on Crutchfield site-Q-logic universal pods for $120, but they are for 5 1/4 speakers..I was hoping for 6 1/2's. BTT once more for any other products?
