Re: bag bag!!! bag question
You may want to post this in the suspension area and let the gurus there help ya out. I think mine are almost 6.5 if I am not mistaken.

Re: bag bag!!! bag question
I just got in a few sets from thorbecke bros they measure 5-7/8 diameter and 2-1/4 tall and I usually trim them down to 1-1/4" tall unless you are looking to lift the front of your truck. I would definately make them larger in diameter to match the bottom of the plate on the air bag.
Not to rip on you mxjunkie80 but bigger isnt always better because as long as the height of the lower cup allows you to clear the bag on the control arm when completely deflated then you are just adding unecessary weight to the system. |

Re: bag bag!!! bag question
are you speaking of the cups that fit in the stock control arm and the bag mounts to it or a cup welded into the bottom of the arm (circle cut out of the arm) that allows extra air pressure to be in the bag at the same drop because the bag is physically?

Re: bag bag!!! bag question
Yes we are talking different things! Will the 2600's fit inside an 8" cup though? I thought max diameter of the 2600's was 8"

Re: bag bag!!! bag question
If max diameter is 8" and you use a 8" diameter cup, it should fit fine. Of course inner diameter is slightly smaller. Actually I'm not even sure what size my front bags are. But I'd hope they fit with that big of a cup. If not, I'll make it work somehow.

Re: bag bag!!! bag question
i believe my cups are 8" and by dominator 2600's came super close..too close for comfort that i swapped them to the 2500's just in case. but i think slam bags dont expand when deflated so you should be good. set the bag in the cup and see how much room you have. remember they inflate up at an angle, not straight up...just something to keep in mind as the suspension travels
