Another 700R4 question
I am sure everyone is getting tired of me asking about this topic. When I am at highway speeds and I step on it to pass, the trans constantly shifts back between 4-3,3-4 and over and over.
I have seen something about this before and am sure it was here. Any help would be terrific. Thanks Jason |

Make sure the tv cable is adjusted right. The best way is to have a trusted shop check it with a pressure gauge.I have installed a downshift kit made by B&M,bought thru summit. The trans will downshift when you get to 2/3rd throtle.Keeps it from downshifting when cruising. check out www.bowtieoverdrives.com

Agree...your TV cable is probably out of whack...do something now before the tranny dies on you.

that is a common problem with the 700r's when you are giving it too much throttle in overdrive it wants to downshift there is an aftermarket valve to correct this problem. it comes in just about every shift kit made and is available through b&m
