How about some pics of ADs with static dropss
Maybe a description of what you did, what size springs, blocks, spindles or any other pertinent info.

Yeah I'm just looking for some examples because I was trying to go with a drop axle on my next project. But I am rather picky on the stance and tuck of the wheels. I'd love to see some pics ( I know many people don't go this route) but there has got to be someone out there.

I'd suggest Sids http://www.droppedaxles.com/ for having your axle dropped if you want to go that way.
I'm no help with photos as when my truck was really low it had the subframe under the front and coils under the rear. The last 20 years it has run with 195-14 tires on the front and three leaves out of the springs for what is probably the worse ride you can imagine and less than great handling. I'd pick the stance I liked on a truck and figure out exactly how high it sits and then figure out how to get my (your) truck to have that stance. A combination of axle, springs and wheel/tires should take care of the front and spring/blocks/tire size on the back should handle that. |

yeah I been on that sid's site looks like the best info on them and looks like good work. But with shipping I'd be atleast 350 in the hole. So I gotta weight out the options with new king pins and modifying the steering arm etc. Also I'd like to have all the springs for a healthy ride, but removing is a possibility.
I'm concerned with the tuck as well. At some point I am going to be dealing with all of this. I wanna go a different route each build an see what is the best route. I just thought there would be some more builds out there that went this route. That is why I posted the thread, maybe reel in a few guys to put some input and pics up. thanks for the reply

Probably not exactly what you're looking for.
This is my 51 3/4 ton. I flipped the rear axle to on top of the springs to get the rear down. I then leveled the truck to that height and cut the front frame off for the Camaro subframe. The rear is going to require a frame notch because there is only a few inches of space between the frame and axle tube. I don't have exact measurements with me, but if you look at the running board in the before picture, it is basically running at the axle center line; after it is a bit below that. It is sitting on 14" tires now, which will change.
