1965 C10 Auto Coumn

Will a 1972 Auto/Tilt column mount in a 1965 like it came from the factory? Bought another truck and someone tried fitting a van column from the early 80s (I think) and doesn't fit. Thanks

Thanks, I was looking at a 72 with tilt to put into my 65 but didn't know how it would fit.
