ill start off with a little info on my truck its a 71 chevy c10 coil springs long bed with a small block. Now im wanting to lower my truck but im not sure how low i will be able to go i know the 4/6 is as low as i can go with out a c-notch. so i was thinking about that one but i have long tube headers on it and was worried it would be to close to the ground if i went the low. so i measured to see how high it was right now its 9" from the ground so a 4" drop would put it at 5" is that to low for a daily driver. if so would the 3.5/5 be a good one to go to. i saw 68stepbed's truck and thinks it looks awesome that low but i was kinda wanting lower. also where i live the roads are all paved but its still out in the country. thanks for all the help.

I would go at this step by step. 2 1/2" drop spindle up front, and a 1" drop spring. Stock shocks and mounts are OK. Out back, a 2" block and a 3" spring. Most springs are developted for short beds, and your long bed will drop a bit more, appx 1/2". Consider an adjustable panhard rod, and relocated shock mounts. Sway bars front and rear will be next. Drive the truck for a month befor you go any lower. It is safe to cut the front coils, use a sawzall, or cutting wheel, no torch. Cut 1/2 coil, then drive for a month. The headers and the front crossmember/lower control arms, will be the first things to hit.

Do I need just the adjustable pan hard bar or a super track bar. It say use the super track for anything that 5" or lower.

The stock bar is kinda short. Ours, and the other long adjustable bars are the ticket
