Rplacement chrome door sills
Anyone have replacement chrome door sills that can report how well (Or not) they have held up? Going to buy some and debating to go chrome or stainless. Rather go chrome and keeo the totally stock look, but if theyre cheap pieces I'd go for the polished stainless ones.

i would go stainless. the repo chrome ones rust indoors just from the humidity even when not on the truck

I agree...plus....the factory "chrome" was a rough textured finish even NOS and stainless looks closer...

Absolutely stainless! Never again will I buy these cheap rust while you wait chinese crap sills.
In Classic parts catalog, they are only $5 bucks more (each)

I has a set of repo chrome ones that are about ten years old. they have some rust but have held up pretty well.

I went with repo SS and they look good, close to original. Fitment is poor, you'll have to tweak to get it right.
