Hooker aerochambers?
Anyone used them before? Thinking about getting em for my truck, just wondering how loud they actually are. Ive seen videos of them but never herd them in person

Re: Hooker aerochambers?
I had just heard a set on a squarebody CC with a 496 in it. The engine was a pretty modified streeter running headmans, rectangle ports and putting down high 600's - low 700's for horsepower. The Aerochambers sounded great below about 2,500 - 3,000 rpm. Real quiet and unassuming. Above that or when you really kicked it hard, there was no mistaking that the motor wasn't even close to stock. Didn't have the rap that's normally associated with something like a Flowmaster. I've got a set on my Xmas list! The guy said they were fairly inexpensive too.

Re: Hooker aerochambers?
Yea I can get the aerochambers from summit for like 70 bucks, plus flowmasters are over rated...and expensive!
