Tunnelcruise in Amsterdam

last night we had the annual tunnelcruise in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

we get together and drive through every tunnel we can find and let de V8's roar as loud as possible...

here are some impressions.

this is my favorite, the sound was deffening:

all lanes covered at the schiphol (airport) tunnel:

thats me at 0:38 in the rear view mirror

and me driving by....

That's great. I bet the others in the airport tunnel were wondering what was going on.

east of me in Montreal there are some like that,
prob is with that much rumble the bridges sometimes fall on you...or behind you

Re: Tunnelcruise in Amsterdam

thanks guys for all the comments. We had a blast!

hopefully some louder pipes next year for me...

Question for you all....

what would be a good upgrade for daily driving, nice sound and economy?

I think I now have standard headers and some kind of glass packs...

Re: Tunnelcruise in Amsterdam

Many years ago I had a buddy that had headers that flowed to an H pipe. Right behind that he had 30" long glasspacks with 2.5" pipe all the way out the back. That car had a sound that I could hear for blocks. It wasn't really loud, but it had a distinct rumble that was like no other around.
