Rollpan Question Which One?

Looking for a rollpan for my truck and was wondering whats the difference between the Mar-K Rollpan http://www.mar-k.com/Catalog/catalog.aspx and the Sir Michaels Rollpan http://www.sirmichaels.com/display_part/113.php besides the price is there any difference in them as far as install or quality. Also how much work is needed on each one to "finish" them. If anyone has either of these on their truck could you post a picture so i could visually compare them, preferably the one with the license box since thats the one im looking to buy. Im also wanting to be able to bolt it in so can both of them be done that way. Thanks for the help.
Joe

Re: Rollpan Question Which One?

Bored Joe, I had the Sir Michael's rollpan with the built-in taillights. That is, until I was informed by an officer of the law that it was an illegal set-up in the Republic of Kalifornia. The installation was an easy bolt-in method that looked pretty sharp, IMHO.

Re: Rollpan Question Which One?

I used a Sir Michaels roll pan on my 95 chevy and it was a perfect fit. I think they make a good product.

GMC DOG what do you mean when you say deletes bumper recess, it looks good on that truck but i was wanting something i could paint and bolt on because ive already had some body work and paint done. I am curious however whats different about the one youve posted to the others exactly, thanks.

I have a mar-k rollpan on my truck, great fit and super quality. As for the recess deletes compare the pic posted above to mine and you can see what the deletes do.

Below our taillights is a recess for the bumper. this weld on roll pan kit fills in those and brings the roll pan out flush with the tailgate. check out these pics.
