Need help with 55 truck parking brake
http://www.cardomain.com/usernew/gar...u=2&id=2330005
http://www.cardomain.com/usernew/gar...u=2&id=2330005 This a link to Cardomain. You will probably need to paste it to your browser. If it even works. I tried posting pictures........ What I need is a picture of how the parking brake levers installs. I have the system with the return spring and three links (each link connects to the end of cables) my idler lever has only two holes. There is a bracket that facilitates all links to connect at one point. My 58 Apache is different than the 55. The 58 does not have a return spring. So, if you have the parking brake with spring, three links and only two holes and idler lever please send me a picture. Thank you. Last edited by fuchster; 01-01-2012 at 01:15 PM. |

Re: Need help with 55 truck parking brake
I just went to the wreaking yard the other day to get the P/B levers and brackets so here is a pic of the crossmember and parts.
This is from a 55-7 . The top of the pic would be the front looking from above. |
