i just got an 18 wheeler tank 27 1/2 by 9 1/2 by 9 1/2. i think it must be a 5 gal. it has 5 1/2 ports and looks to be pretty thick gauge metal. i think it should work well. thanks for all the comments and opinions....keep them coming....

What's better 2 viair's 380c or 2 viair's 480c to fill a 5gal tank? Planning on a front and rear set up on a 91 suburban.

I have 2-380's and 2-3gallon tanks. I tied the comps together before the tanks in case one comp fails, then at least I have the other to fill the tanks until I'm able to get home or whatever and get the other repaired/replaced.
