Prebent Brake Lines
Where is the best place to buy the front set? Is the LMC set any good?
Bottom line is I have the tools, and the know-how to make my own, but I do enough of them at work. If I make them I'm going to stop half way through and run down to the gas station for 5 gallons of diesel, and a book of matches...

I got my lines from a place in Buffalo NY. I think the name is custom brake lines or something like that, I don't recall. I know I mentioned it in one of my build posts. The only things I didn't like was the price, over $200,and getting the right front line in. Even though the body was off and the engine out, that 1 line was a real bear to get in. Otherwise these lines are the tits. I did all the lines, front and rear. They are all stainless steel, nuts and wire wrap too and fit like factory, just perfect. jim

1984 K20 350M engine with 465,000 miles. Well, it's finally done!! Almost 2 years of work, but it was really worth the effort. Little stuff left to do is mount winch, wet sand & buff out and build belly pan\running boards. Body work takes lots and LOTS of beer!!!! God, Guts and Guns made America and God, Guts and Guns will preserve it! The worst thing you could do is get into my sights, but that don't matter, you'll never know it, cause you'll never hear the shot  Jim or Paladin whichever you choose.

as long as you have the old ones to use as a template, make your own, I bought a pliers set of cheap benders and they turned out perfect, and I have not bent lines except for house conduit in 15 years, well worth the savings. just a couple bucks

Anyone else? I checked Brothers as well, and the stainless kit is about the same ($219). Like I said, I could make the lines. I do a lot of them already at work since the shop I'm at is by the water, and we have some of the saltiest roads in the country... That is just the thing, though. I do enough of them, don't want to do my own. And bending stainless is a PITA, plus two rolls of the line and fittings is a good chunk of change in itself.

I got my set from Classic Industries, I paid around $100 shipped. The fit was a little sloppy. I ended up cutting them to the right length and re flaring the lines. They are not stainless, but for what I needed at the time they were worth it.

I bought prebent stainless lines from Inline tube. Fit great.
