I have up for sale a NOS complete grill assembly(outer,inner,head bezels,etc) The only thing I added to it not NOS original are the correct style after market turn signal assemblies. It is NEW in GM box. It has been stored correctly so that the point is not all worn and damaged. $1650 SHIPPED obo

Will be shipped via fed x ground insured and signature required.

I have a question......, the bezels...am I wrong or shouldn't they be black? Just don't want any issues when you sell this. Nice looking piece ready to put on....riveting those end pieces is a pain!

I edited about the grille...you can see the raised portions on it in the picture but according to others that could be NOS since gm started making them all look like 70's at some point just like the aftermarket does.....

The center is flat egg crate no number on it. Bezels are just anodized aluminum no color.

Jonathan is correct, the head light bezels should be black! that is a nice grille!

As stated above, original bezels are black. They are also steel, not aluminum. The bezels could, however, be NOS and what GM supplied originally with this unit if it was produced in 1971 or later since I doubt they kept making bezels from steel after the 71s came out with aluminum bezels.

update the 2nd back brace on the drivers side that is the support for the honey comb is CRACKED on the back side. Once installed you will never see it but it is damaged. So with the news I have dropped price to 1350 obo. 2nd pic from bottom you can see the brace has a fine crack in it right ion the middle. It is such a fine break I looked at this many times and never noticed it!!

I am curious abou this as well. I have an NOS outer and it does not have that piece, only 4 holes on each end.

The metal brackets do not come pre-installed. Just as the inner grill does not come pre-installed. They are all separate parts with different part numbers. I had to rivet the bracket on my NOS grille.

Ah, thank you for the clarification on the bracket. I have an NOS outer and an NOS inner now. Are the rivets for those end brackets anything special or just regular ole aluminum rivets?

I used a combintation of aluminum rivets and stainless steel capped rivet bolts. I can't remember which ones went where. My grille is in storage. I'd have to check for you.

That's what I used. I did use pop rivets in certain areas due to size issues. I can't remember why, though. My memory isn't what it used to be.

Thanks for the tip. The grille on my truck has what appear to be aluminum pop rivets, but I know it's not original.
