Re: Aluminum rads! Who's got em and wants to show em off??
Yes but not at a great angle it fits 100% like stock. I posted a pic of the stocker vs the champion 100% match. I have a stock fan shroud that is trimmed back a bit but other than that it works great even on a 408 SBC with 11.2 comp ratio no issues in AZ heat at all. Metal fan with clutch as well.. Keep it simple

Recently online I saw a 60-62 aluminum one that had the forming across the top similar to an original.
I'll see if I can find the pic and post it. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Aluminum rads! Who's got em and wants to show em off??
My Champion core is leaking. Chinese I think.
Here is the Griffin to replace it in my 65. This is the 600 hp version with inlet and outlet set up for the LS motors. Would be a perfect fit except that I got the 600 hp instead of the 400 hp so the core and tanks are too thick. I will have to fab the brackets. All parts including the tanks and core are made in SC. I visited the factory. They have a large library of antique radiators to make patterns from. TR

Re: Aluminum rads! Who's got em and wants to show em off??
Astro,
The part number for the one I have is 6-563AR-JXX. That number is for LS motors, up to 600 hp. Note that a bung for the steam vent is included. Mine does not have the tranny cooler, that would be another number. If you have any questions or want to order direct call Alan DiUmberto (sales manager) 864-845-5000, or alan@griffinrad.com Good luck, TR
