front drop shock options
Does anyone know of another vehicles shocks that can be used as drop shocks for our trucks up front? Im looking for front drop shocks for around a 2" drop, any ideas? Anyone know the cheapest place to buy drop shocks or have some sitting around? Im in aviation tech school so budget is small, but id like to get my truck lower as soon as i get tires. And maybe cheapest place for4 in drop rear coils. Im probably going to use my jeep jk springs until i can afford the full 3/5 kit. Ideas anyone?

Re: front drop shock options
Yeah, the drop shock part numbers that some of the suppliers use convert to a shock for something like a Sienna minivan or a Ford Ranger or something like that. I have found the KYBs for $30/pr. Im at work and dont have the numbers with me. I'll look up the info when I get home.

Re: front drop shock options
With a 2" drop you can run stock shocks because your not going to bottom out lower than your stock bump-stops.

Re: front drop shock options
I was all over the bump stops when I put 2" ECE drop springs with KYB shocks on the front of my truck. One thing I noticed was that the KYB's were very soft. It might would've been better with some stock height shocks, but I didn't try it.

Re: front drop shock options
I'm still running stock shocks on mine with a 3/5 drop. Havent noticed any drawbacks yet.
