Upper metal radiator hose, what to use to make one
What metal would you suggest to make the metal section of the upper radiator hose ? Aluminized exhaust tubing ? it will be painted or powdercoated black .

I don't see why not. Other option is stainless, just more $$$

Hey Mike,
Did you end up going with some stainless exhaust tubing for upper radiator hose I am thinking of the same type of idea??????? maybe polished? I was also thinking the biggest stainless braided line would that work as well?? |

Re: Upper metal radiator hose, what to use to make one
May be a dumb question, but why exactly do 4wd trucks all have a metal tube instead if a rubber hose?

Re: Upper metal radiator hose, what to use to make one
I think the engine sits farther back (4x4 fan shrouds are deeper) and a long rubber hose could sag and get tangled up in the alternator belt.
