7.4 liter stamp on bottom of motor?

my motor has a 7.4 liter stamp and GM on the bottom of the motor, did this come on all stock 454s? also it has ce (counter exchange) on the prefix of the motor as well , the motor is in a 1978 k10 that had a 350 4 barrel im just trying to confirm it has a 454 in it for sure. Does the 7.4 liter stamp confirm the 454 id?

7.4L stamped on the block indicates it was a 454 stock. It is also possible it's been bored or stroked & is larger now (461, 468, 496, etc...). At the minimum, it's a 454 block.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

GM did not always use the metric "7.4" designations for its 454 Engines, I think that started in the mid 80's....

Maybe Keith can clear this up.

My 454 is a gm goodwrench reman which has a brass plate on the engine block which says something like "remanufactured for General Motors" and also has the amount bored over stamped on that plate. The story is the original owner blew the original 454 and got this engine from a GM dealer as a replacement motor.
