69 Disc brake conversion questions
Converting my 69 to front disc brakes and have a few questions. Do I need to change my brake lines to the front of the cross member from the rear? It was factory power brakes so do I need to change my master cylinder or prop valve and if so should I use 71-72 parts or later model parts? Thanks in advance.

Quote:
71-72 parts here would be a direct bolt on. There is no need to re-route the brake line. You can buy direct bolt-on 63-70 standard spindles and drop spindles. You will need to bend up a couple hard lines from the prop valve down to the crossmember. Have you bought any parts for the conversion yet? Re: 69 Disc brake conversion questions
I ordered my conversion from way2low2 and it is a Mcgauhy's kit but is only for the spindles out. So I will need to run new hard lines for the front brakes?

Re: 69 Disc brake conversion questions
Your original line to the front hoses will work.
You just need a new line from the M/C to the tee on the crossmember. It's either 3/16" or 1/4".
