bench to buckets
I have a 1988 1 ton suburban that has a bench seat in it . what would i need to convert it to buckets with a console . I have a set of buckets out of a blazer but they dont even look close to fitting .

you would need the seat base brackets and inner seat base to floor bracket that is welded to the floor on the suburbans. You're best bet is to find one at a salvage yard and take all you can from it.

Suburban and truck floors are totally different than the K5's floor. K5 has a flat floor and sub/truck has a huge hump that the seat sits on.

i did 89 burb to 78 jimmy
had to drill my own holes in the seat base but with the right bases it worked
