CPP Modular Spindles and bags: Disc contact on LCAs

I'm just installed CPP's modulars on my 69. At full compression of the bags, the discs contact the lower control arms (which are stock). I'm going to do some hacking on the LCAs, I was just curious if anyone else has run into this.

You are saying the disc "rotor" comes in contact with the lower a-arm?

Runpastthefence, did you ever get the problem with your control arms hitting resolved. I just did a 5.5" static drop on mine using CPP spindles and have the same issue. I'm curious how much you had to remove.

Re: CPP Modular Spindles and bags: Disc contact on LCAs

Not very much. Just a little off of the very edge. I just jacked the control arms up until full compression and turned the spindles with the rotors mounted. The rotors scored the lower control arms where they needed to be cut. I cut an additional 1/16"-1/8" for good measure.

No big deal, but CPP might want to mention it...

All of this is a result of CPP's narrower track width Modular drop spindles.
I guess trimming the lower a-arm will fix this issue?
