Rally center cap idea

Here is what I did for my rally wheel center cap emblems on my 65. They where 4X4 caps. Had some emblems made at the local trophy shop. $30 for the four. Epoxied them over the 4X4 emblems. Drew them up on some graph paper, they took it from there. They can do pretty much any kind of design you want. Lots of colors avalible. The lower pic is what I had them do for my Baja Bug dash.

Yes thank you. I really like that dash idea as well, I would never have thought of a trophy shop for that kind of item.

Re: Rally center cap idea

Have to give some credit to my brother. He just finished an XKE and used this idea for a switch panel. He back lit the panel and the letering illuminates a night. Looks pretty cool

That's cool! I want to do something similar for the switches on my Astro van. I am a little suprised they would do the bowtie since its a registered trademark. Some businesses get a bit nervous doing stuff like that.

Re: Rally center cap idea

They had no problem with it. I don't think GM would mind either. ;-)
