Question 7” round clear replacement headlight

Does anybody recognize this headlight assembly and a source to get a new one? This one got broken last month roaming around Canyonlands. I thought I got these from LMC a couple years ago but the current headlight assemblies in their catalog look a bit different and too blingy for my taste. Their new ones have stupid chrome covers over the light bulb and more ribs in the back ground. Me no likey!

I've been looking for the same thing with no luck. Everything I find either has a dang halo or bulb cover!

Maybe some Hella H4 lights? They look very stock.

Re: 7” round clear replacement headlight

If you do a search there was a thread on here where to save some money a guy replaced his round headlights with those of a late model Jeep.

Yeah! I like those too. I missed it somewhere, are they glass or plastic?

Thanks for the link!

Re: 7” round clear replacement headlight

No problem. Your truck is one my favorites.

They are glass. Very nice quality.

Re: 7” round clear replacement headlight

Well, I ended up snagging some new headlights off Ebay for $46 delivered. These lights are not your usual plastic Chinese cheesy things like found in the LMC catalog but rather true glass headlights made by Autopal from India. Pretty decent looking quality to them compared most others. I also found a set of wire headlight guards to protect my fancy new lights so they don’t get broke again out on the dusty trail

Re: 7” round clear replacement headlight

I couldn't find these but I did find some glass ones from summit on ebay, so hopefully they'll work.

These came from LMC, but not the truck catalog. Look at LMC's British Victoria catalog for little sports cars (MG, Triumph, Sunbeam, etc.). After I broke a light in the back country of Arizona I was looking for these like I had on my ’72 K5 back in the early 90’s. I couldn’t find these anywhere then my FIL said he saw them in is catalog for his little Triumph. Sure enough, they are in the British Victoria catalog. Cheap too! Not sure why they don’t put these in the truck catalogs.

I didn't notice any affect on the light beam spread. Seems the same as it was before. Yeah, I expect these to get rusty too. The ones I had on my K5 back in the early 90’s rusted up within a few months and we don’t even use roadsalt here. The ones I just put on the K10 haven’t rusted yet but if they do I think I might plastidip them in black.
