1.75" Water Neck for a Chevy 350?

Anyone know if anyone makes a thermostat housing (water neck) for a Chevy 350 that has a 1.75" nipple? All of them that I see are 1.5, but my upper radiator outlet is 1.75", so I am always looking for a 26" long 1.5"x1.75" upper radiator hose, which I can never find.

Am I doing something the hard way?

One solution would be to use a Gates p/n 26391 reducer. Here’s a link showing one for about 5 bucks. If you click on “More info” it shows a close up. This would allow the use of any hose the correct length:

Another option would be to show the specs on the following page, and ask your local parts store to check the manufacturers catalog and see if the same 1.5” x 1.75” combination hose is produced 6” longer.

Hey Mark, thanks a lot for the response! I hadn't even thought about a reducer. I think I will go that route because it's cheaper, and also because there's a higher likelihood that I'll be able to reuse this with another hose like what I have in a pinch. This will give me max flexibility.

Thanks again!
