where to purchase upper & lower bushing seals???
Ok so I tore my entire '67 front end down a couple years ago and had everything powder coated. The upper and lower control arms as well as shaft assys turned out great. However I am having much trouble locating the rubber bushing seals as well as the shaft bushing seal/boot. I can order complete shaft assys with the seals boots but I cant fine them outside of an assy. Can you please help me locate these items.
I would be most grateful!! |

I believe www.truckandcarshop.com sells the seals separately from the shafts.

Re: where to purchase upper & lower bushing seals???
OK I checked with truckandcarshop and they do have the rubber grommet that fits on the metal bushing.
Now is there not a rubber seal that goes on the shaft that covers the mated parts of the shaft to the metal bushing? ClassicParts.com sells the complete shaft assy that has a rubber boot/seal as well as the rubber grommet that goes onto the metal bushing. But they dont sell them separately. Am I right? Can some of you guys look and see if there is indeed a rubber seal/boot on the shaft, on each end, that is on the between the "A" arm. Thanks guys I hope you can understand what I am trying to say and ask. LOL |

You have found what your looking for, I believe they are one and the same. #7 upper, #27 lower.

Re: where to purchase upper & lower bushing seals???
Thanks guys for taking time to hold my hand through this process.
the last thing.. I found the grommets that fit onto the bushing, Now does anyone know if that is the only seal or bushing needed? I am seeing another one on a complete shaft assy from truckandcarshop.com. Thanks |
