67-72 Leaf Spring Instalation
I need some pictures of how the leaf spring attaches to the axle. When I bought the truck it didn't have the rear axle installed. We just slid it on the wrecker on the springs. I am trying to get the frame back to a roller, so I can get it to the frame shop for inspection(or repair). They asked that I have it in roller form. I went the box of parts I got with the truck and only found 2 U-bolts. I also found what looks like it goes on the botton of the axle, but nothing to go on top of the leaf springs.
Any pictures or help would be great. Thanks, Chris

Re: 67-72 Leaf Spring Instalation
Thank you Fleet72. Do you know where I can get the part that goes on top of the leaf spring? Judging from the pictures you posted I need the top part and 4 square U-bolts.
Thanks, Chris

Don't think I've seen new ones listed anywhere. Try the wrecking yard or you could make some new ones out of flat stock just make sure to radius any edges that are in contact with the leaves.
