I'm curious about your buddy's truck that sold for $33k. How did he sell it?

And tons of it. Gary has been "toying" with these truck for at least 15 years or more. Mainly as a parts business, but if he comes across a extra clean truck he restores it and takes it to every show, swap meet, you name it he's there. Selling his parts and throwing a 35k price tag on his current truck. He has built up a good reputation for being honest and for his knowledge about these trucks and eventually someone comes along and either doesn't have the time or [[ I almost said money]] the where-with-all to restore a truck, and just has to have his. If not he just takes it down the road aways, and why not He'll be there anyways.
I meet Gary @ 1990 when someone reffered him to me for my parts. That was the days before the internet and reprod. parts, when I had to send him my guage bezel, vent balls and stuff to get re-chromed. I sort of latched on and luckily for me he didn't mind. This is a PIC OF A PIC of my truck so it's pretty bad. I think I did a decent job thanks to my dads help and Gary's advice\parts. And concidering I was 19 and had never turned a wrench before. (sold it in '93, case of Corvette fever) I am a little more of a purist when it comes to stock, but with the money his trucks demand, I would say he knows how to build them. I was flattered though when he told me recently what my truck would have brought if I had sold it now( in that condition).
