which clutch???
Im looking for a new clutch for my truck. I currently have a hays high performance clutch but I noticed that the pressure plate is alittle bent. I cant decided which is better. A Mcleod super streetpro clutch or a Ram auto powergrip hd clutch. Has anyone an ideas of whos better or uses any of them and give me a recommendation?

Just replace the pressure plate- much cheaper!

Any reason why you want to put in a high performance clutch system?
I just took out the one the PO put in my '70, it was super heavy and it ended up bending the engine ball stud causing all kinds of headaches getting the clutch linkage adjusted. I replaced it with the OE style, and I have one in my K20 burb as well. No complaints, and my calf muscle feels better after a day of driving. I'd recommend just going OE style, and take the money you save and put it towards something else on your rig. Just my .02

I agree with the rest, you dont really need the weight assist on the press plate for street use. If you plan to race it , or beat the snot out of it, I would reccomend a Center -Force diapragm setup. The Center-Force DF setup in my truck has a good feel on the peddle, & has taken one he!! of a beatin
 Just be carefull not to rev her too tight( clutch didnt quite release @ 7200)...1 crunched syncro, & 1 really sore shoulder .......crazyL
