well sure if thats the look your going for.
or the rpm, or the air gap etc. Not sure about hood clearance with any taller mani+4150+carb style filter on these trucks tho..I'm sure someone has done it.

I've never seen a dual plane setup where all it was moving is air. Fuel + air yes.....air only, no.

Old thread but found a new alternative. There's a guy in Ohio who fabricates these, goes by BH Custom Designs. He sells them on ebay and the price is not all that bad when you consider how much work would have to go into them.....

Also, I swapped my top mount air filter for a modified late model camaro cover (cut, splice, and epoxy). It needs better paint but I was in a hurry. Just another idea for a cover...
