please explain?
I know this isn't ours but it make no sense. Out and about working I ran across this. I wanted to cut him down and save his life. The body was completely straight other than its now buckled roof. This wasn't even a junk yard. This was hanging from a huge military tow truck. Then they stripped him of his shoes too. Come on!

Re: please explain?
Looks like they were trying to save what they could. Then onward and upward. Maybe an army member's parts truck???

Re: please explain?
I hope the guys in the 67-72 section don't see that picture. Those guys will freak, and rightly so. It's sad to see something that solid being treated that way.

Re: please explain?
That is really weird. What base was that on? Reserve or National Guard maybe? I know when I was at Bragg there was no way they would be using a military vehicle to tow someones privately owned vehicle unless it was abandoned somewhere on the base property. Even then I think they would use a privately owned tow company. I know many civilians would dump trash and old furniture on the training grounds. Just thought of another possibility, could be on its way to be used for target practice. The local salvage yards usually donate cars and trucks to be used for aerial gunnery practice and urban warfare scenarios. Once again depends on what base that picture was taken at.

Re: please explain?
Was the tail end dragging the ground? Hopefully the cab was beyond repair already, whether the top or the other side, and they are still planning on saving the rest.

Re: please explain?
"STAFF", YOU REALLY DO NEED TO STOP "EDITING" POSTS THAT CLEARLY AREN'T POLITICAL IN NATURE, NOR APPLICATION.
YOUR SUPPOSITION OF THAT POST WAS, IS, AND ALWAYS WILL BE POLITICAL, IS DEAD WRONG, WRONG, WRONG. BTW, "progress" brought us Japanese cars, from the workings of persons that "scrap" our older American vehicles, to build those Japanese cars and trucks. Now, go make all that political, you'll still be wrong, all the way wrong. And, all fed up tired of having "staff" dictate what they just know in posts, when that just ain't the way it really is. Staff also needs to delete the topic "Time To Votes Folks!" in this section, and censure its author, as it is clearly and obviously a BLATANT AND OVER THE TOP POLITICAL AD, AND NOT ALLOWED.
