Re: 55 2nd Series LS1

Don't know if you mean LS1 specific or just LSx in general...

There's some good stuff in the LSx swap part of the board here...
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/f...prune=-1&f=206

I have a 5.3 / 4L60E and my build thread is in my sig.

Others who have done or are doing this type of swap...
blackdiesel , Kabwe , Kim57 , JML55 , and several others, but most on here are the 5.3 6.0 or LS2. If you search the site and find the builds you may find more info.

Re: 55 2nd Series LS1

I'm building my second LSx swap right now. I just used an aftermarket alum. Radiator from Coolcraft. So far no problems. You can use an internal or external fuel pump. Best bet is to go to ls1tech.com in the Hybrid sub forum and look at some of the builds. There are some that are stickies and answer most questions. I'd try to get a manifold that only has a fuel supply line. Some have supply and return so you have to run two lines to the front. Manifolds are cheap and pretty much interchangeable between all motor types.
