Radiator options

Hello all, I am starting a project 47 Chevy pickup with my 14yr old son for his first car.

The truck will be on an S10 frame with a mild 350/700R4 combo. Wondering what if any popular options are out there for radiators. I'm building this on a budget (since he is responsible for half the cost of the build). I am a pretty decent fabricator, but I'm looking for what others have used with minimal modification, or opinions on using the factory radiator to keep a small block cool.

Thanks

Re: Radiator options

Thanks, I'll take a look on ebay. I was trying to steer away from new stuff to help teach the youngster to look around for other options vs. just buying new off the bat. He's a good kid, but doesn't really have a good grasp of just how valuable the dollar is.

Hoping this will give him a vested interest in taking care of his truck, and thinking before doing some of the crazy stuff I did as a kid...

Wow, that is some pretty good prices. We may just go that route. Thanks
