Window Weatherstrip
The window weatherstripping around the roll up glass and vent glass is severely weathered and cracked. Is it possible to change it with out damaging the paint job up in inside and out? If it is where is the best place to purchase the items from.

Re: Window Weatherstrip
Try Steele rubber products or classic parts of america. Both carry all the cab/window weatherstriping. Its possible to replace it all w/o damage to the paint. Just go slow and use tape to mask the paint so you dont scratch it.

Re: Window Weatherstrip
Does the vent window have to be removed? Is there a step by step directions i can get? Now that it is cooling off, need to fix a few things this winter.

Re: Window Weatherstrip
You will have to pull the vent window to replace the seals on it. Do you have a factory assembly manual? Also...there was a thread here a few weeks ago that walked through step by step on it.

Re: Window Weatherstrip
Perhaps these pages from the 1960 Chevy Truck Shop manual will help. Procedures for the 64-66 should be similar:
You may also find this thread informative. It pertains to rebuilding the vent window: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...ht=vent+window
