Please help ole knowledgeable ones
Are all 1967 to 72 center link or drag links, or what ever you call them the same?
Is a C/10 link different from C/20? Or does a truck with power steering have one thats different from a truck with manual steering? |

" I think" they are the same except for the pitman arm. I put a PS box on my sons 69 and only remember changing the pitman arm. I'm going to do the same on a buddys 71.

No! 67-70 are the same and then you have 71-72 style also no difference between power and manual I really don't know on c10 or c20 though.

Go to a parts store, and look at a suspension parts book. (Moog preferred) Look for inner tie rod ends w/ same part numbers. Some w/ same part numbers can still be the same size. Same goes for pitman and idler arms... I know they are NOT all the same. AND I know that 73-up pickups use larger "holed" centerlinks because of the tie rod end differences. Yes the C-10 can be different from an C20, check the parts books...
You can get into a can of worms trying to swap some ofthis stuff around, beware. I plan to use spindles, and ALL the steering components from a 74 on my 67. The tie rods are larger (stronger).... |

Re: Please help ole knowledgeable ones
not sure if all of them will change out, i put power steering on mine and i use a power steering box and pitman arm off a 1985 gmc 1/2 ton pickup and everything hooked up like it should, the pitman arm and the box fit mine with out doing any mods....look at the junk yard post and it has a list of stuff we all use and what will work and what parts will work and what to do to make it work....a great post.....
