58 Suburban - fuel pump

dumb question..... looking at online parts store for new fuel pump. period correct (not sure if original) inline 6. Why do they differentiate between vacuum or electrice wipers? thanks, joe

fuel pump for vacuum wipers had another diaphragm for providing vacuum to those wiper motors. Much larger and more expensive pump than the the version that doesn't provide a vacuum source.
