Are these stock spindles?
69 C10 CST, I'm planning disc brake conversion for the front, and possibly a drop. I'm not sure whether I have stock height spindles now, please see pic. I see a "GM 0970" stamped near the top (at least that's what I think the numbers are).
Please see pic of current ride height (sorry its small), currently running 255-60-15 tires. It seems like lower than stock ride height to me, but not sure whether it has drop spindles or different coils. Thanks in advance! Jon |

Re: Are these stock spindles?
Thanks Keith,
Do you have thoughts on whether the truck is currently at a stock ride height, based on the 2nd pic? Appreciate the help. Jon |

Re: Are these stock spindles?
looks pretty close to stock to me,
Remember,... those are 43 year old springs. Put a brand new set of stock height springs under it,... and I bet the front will come up 1"-2". Do the disc conversion for sure.
