I've done it several times, what's your question? what wire to hook it up to?

Re: 67-72 Tach dash
I'm compiling info, and reading up on this swap. But I didn't see any info in the stock tach dash (67-72) being used and if it would work.
When I do my swap I want to use my new tach dash. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: 67-72 Tach dash
Depends on what year your PCM is, but generally the 2003 and newer will need the pull up resistor. Also you'll have to change the tach resolution from 6 to 3 in the tune to make it read correctly since LS motors use a 4 cylinder signal, otherwise it will read half of what it's running (on a V8 tach). Other than that, just hook up the ignition wire like it was originally and hook the signal wire, the one that went to the coil, to the tach output out of the PCM, generally a white wire at C2 10, but that may depend on year and application.
