Re: CUCV glow plugs problem
Congrats on the new truck Bob!
I have removed the Automatic glow plug circuit on my 86 K30 and fitted a manual glow control system. I used a starter solenoid for a 351 Ford out of a pick-up and modified it to mount onto the same studs as the existing glow plug controller module. Then I installed a momentary push button in the dash so that i can actuate the starter solenoid. I also installed a fresh set of AC Delco 60G glowplugs. These plugs take 12-20 seconds to heat up but make the starts so easy.

Re: CUCV glow plugs problem
This one should help as well. Couldn't find this one yesterday. His wiring diagrams have the errors in the Army TM manuals corrected.
