Noisy timing gear!
I have a lot of noise coming from the front of my engine. I know my water pump is starting to go because I can move it just a tiny bit side to side but i am thinking it is more than that. How hard is it to replace timing gears on these puppies? 292 straight six.

Re: Noisy timing gear!
I'd say its your water pump, the timing gear, or is it chain?

Re: Noisy timing gear!
No chain on the sixes, just the two gears.
