Help Identifying 4l60e Trans

I've searched both the web and this site and I can't seam to decode the identification code for a 4l60e trans I picked up at a junkyard. There is a paper tag on the drivers side rear that has

04CHD on the top of the tag with

04CHD708155259 below

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Re: Help Identifying 4l60e Trans

Im familiar with 4CHD....Which stand for 04, C1500, 4L60E.

The "0" in the front is odd, Maybe a rebuild number???
Got a picture of the tag??

More info.....

Re: Help Identifying 4l60e Trans

The tag is hidden behind a bracket. I'm going to put this behind a 5.3 Vortec is there anyway to tell if this transmission came out of a V8 or a V6

Never seen GM put a sticker there on a 4L60E. Rebuilt a couple hundred of them.

Check here.....& report back....

I don't plan on having it rebuilt, I'm going to change the filter and cross my fingers that it's good. Thanks for your help

Re: Help Identifying 4l60e Trans

My 4L60E is stamped 7KCD121B. KC is the engine code, but for which engine?
What does 121B tell me?
I know the year is 1997. It’s a 1-piece bell housing/transmission. The KC may be KG, some wear in the pan rail.
