CA WTB 4 barrel air cleaner base - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Looking for a good used or new air cleaner BASE for my stock air cleaner. Needs to be for a 4 barrel so the center hole needs to measure 4 1/8" to 4 1/4" let me know what you have and how much shipped to 95240 business address. Here is a couple of pics of my air cleaner lid and a couple of the base that I need. Please respond in thread with pics if possible. Thank you.

Did you know a standard aftermarket drop base air cleaner bottom will fit under your stock lid?

I'll see if I can dig up some pictures of mine.

That's what I am running now. I was just hoping to find an original at a decent price. I would like to see some pics of what you got though.

Yep, I used an extra base I had along with the aftermarket filter. The stock lid hangs over the base just enough to hide it. The stock lid was hitting the HEI distributor cap so I grabbed a Mr Gasket spacer to raise everything up a little. I need to get the lid striped one of these days.

I also use a after market base with a filter for a 67 427 L88 with a factory top / this is on my GMC V6 with a holley carb

Well I am officially a dummy

I for some reason said that I needed a base with a hole that measures 4 1/4" when in fact I need one that measures 5 1/4". So, anybody have one of those??
