TD 366 timing

i have a 366 tall deck in my 86 swb and just dropped a new distributor in it a GM hei with a vacuum advance(last one didnt have one) what should i set the base timing at? its a pretty much stock BB
Headers(strait piped with cherry bombs)
Performer 2.0(with spacers)
carter carb unknown CMF
the rest is bone stock

I like to set my low compression old school engines at 12-14 initial, and 36* total.

need to do a little work on a sheet of paper, find out how much advance your vacuum can is worth if its not adjustable. i would find out what a bbc likes in total advance at cruise.

initial+vacuum+mechanical....on a sbc they tend to not like anymore than 50-52.

I set the initial at 8* it has a carter 650 AFB on it the newer style and now it seems to have a pretty large stumble in it on take off at idle and part throttle smashing of the peddle i dont have a vacuum gauge to set the idle mixture screws but they should not cause the part throttle bog or stumble right? is there any other way to set them

BTW i run 87 octane gas and some times a little bit of 93
