Exhaust Kits for 63-72 Trucks?
I was wondering if anyone had used a kit made for 63-72 trucks before and what they thought of it. I can't seem to find anyone around town that can do Mandrel bent exhaust and need to do something with mine, dumping at the back of the cab makes it way to loud cruising at any speed. I need a 3" kit if anyone knows of one. Thanks for any help.

Both Magnaflow (#16643) and Dynomax/Thrush (#89027) make exhaust kits for these trucks, but both are 2.5"
Pypes shows one that fits '60-'87, so I think it is basically universal. It is #SGT79S.

I don't know how skilled you are but, I built my own using mandrel bent 45's. I have a 120 volt mig welder and a chop saw to cut my pipe. I worked pretty good and, I got it to fit much nicer than any custom bent system or bought kit.

Re: Exhaust Kits for 63-72 Trucks?
I have the 2 1/2"Magnaflow system on my 67. It kinda fit but I had to do alot of fideling with it to get it to fit nice.Sounds awsome though and has real nice smooth mandrel bent stainless pipes and mufflers. Also comes with a "X" pipe and the nice band clamps.I had to get stainless ball flanges made to fit my Hedman headers. A custom system would tuck up under the truck nicer though. I don't know what engine you are running but a mandrel bent 2 1/2" system can handle alot of motor.

Mt brothers and I fabbed up exhaust for it awhile back. But I am running a healthy small block and will be spraying 250 out of the hole. I need at least 3". If I didn't already have 3" he aders and mufflers I would have gone 3.5".
