tcc brake switch 85 c10
anyone know about this switch? Can I just use my factory brake switch since the truck had cruise control? I purchased the switch for a camaro that i found a part number to on here, but the factory switch has 3 prongs on the end of it that i assume is for the cruise control, and the two other prongs that are for the brake lights, seems to me i can just use my switch and wire off the three prongs on the end.

Yes your original switch will work since your truck originally had cruise. Just remove the cruise plug and hook the TCC through it. Then if you want to run cruise you can use the LS cruise.

Re: tcc brake switch 85 c10
he means cruise control from the LS motor, not using anything off the old trucks.,
I would also get rid of the three prong switch in favor of a 4-prong switch. It makes wiring the cruise easy. Also, the cruise on the ls motors is DRASTICALLY different if you are running a drive-by-wire system....in that case the cruise control boils down to a couple of toggle switches.
