Rear Motor mount crossmember from 1954 or 1st series 1955

I'm considering an idea for my '47 AD pickup that I thought I'd toss out there. Don't know that I'll do it but wanted to think this through. If I understand correctly, a 1963 Chevy pickup bell housing for a 4 speed trans will bolt up to a small block Chevy. The rear motor mounts for the bell housing show they fit years 1954 - 1984. What I was wondering is if the rear motor mount crossmember from a 1954 or 1955 1st series AD fit in a 1947 AD? If it did, would the 1963 Chevy pickup bell hosing mount on the crossmember as a simple bolt on?

It will work. I am getting ready to do this swap myself. 50 GMC , 55.1 cross-member, 65 bell housing. The cross-member took me awhile to find so keep that in mind if your in a rush to do it.

Thank you for the reply on this. I wasn't sure if anybody knew for sure or not. I was hoping that some truck builders out there doing frame swaps might have a crossmember they'd be willing to part with from their old frame. I'm not in a rush to do this so I'll start looking here locally first.
